Halloween Monster Candy Mocktail Recipe

Only one week to Halloween! How exciting! I hope you’ve got some lovely plans to celebrate the night and if you’re hosting, why don’t you provide some fun halloween themed drinks? I’ve got a super easy Monster Candy Mocktail for you to try, which would be great for kids parties and family fun.

Ingredients:
Orange Juice
Green Liquid Food Colouring
Grenadine
Strawberry laces to decorate

Start by firstly pouring out enough orange juice to fit most of your serving glass, leaving a little room for the grenadine later. Put this orange juice in a separate glass and mix with the liquid green food colouring until you get your desired shade of green. After this, pour into your serving glass and then pour the grenadine onto the side of the glass. Depending on your grenadine, depends on how it will settle in the glass. If you don’t stir, most brands of grenadine will either sink to the bottom or stay on the top to create a gradient effect. Even if you don’t get a gradient effect you will probably get some cool red swirls to contrast against the green drink. To finish the mocktail, decorate the glass with vegetarian friendly strawberry laces.

There you go! How easy is it to make a super fun mocktail for all the family to enjoy around halloween time! If you did want to make it for some adult friends, you could easily add a shot of vodka to create a fun twist on the classic orange juice and vodka combo.

I still haven’t decided what I’m going as and beginning to panic! I’m sure I’ll come up with something soon and will have an awesome time with my family and friends anyway. Let me know what you guys are planning to go as for halloween in the comments below. Hope you’re having a very joyful and delicious time and will speak to you soon!
